10 mi bpd: Saudis must raise oil exports

The Ministry of Energy of Saudi Arabia said in a statement on Tuesday (17), that the country plans to use more gas to obtain energy instead of burning oil. As a result, the kingdom's oil exports are expected to increase in the coming months to above 10 million barrels per day.

"Saudi Arabia will use the gas produced by the Fadhili plant to compensate for about 250,000 barrels per day of domestic oil consumption, which will allow the kingdom to increase its oil exports in the coming months to exceed 10 million bpd," Said.
