17 companies are competing for the oil blocks in the 15th round of bids

Expected to take place on 29 March, the 15th round of bids of the maritime and land blocks received the registration of 17 companies for the dispute, according to the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP). Despite being below the number of inscriptions of the 14th, the investors are hopeful with the auction.

This will be the first time the ANP has held the auction by the two-party bidding system; In the morning, the sea blocks and the landings will be bid in the afternoon. The complete list of participating companies has not yet been released, as they depend on the approval of the Special Bidding Committee (CEL).

The next meeting of the Commission will be held on 21 February.
