According to projections of the Brazilian Association of Photovoltaic Solar Energy (Absolar), Brazil is expected to reach 12.56 gigawatts (GW) of installed capacity of photovoltaic solar power generation projects in 2021. This growth represents an increase of 68% compared to the current power of 7.46 GW.
The figures include both large power plants, known for centralized generation, and generation systems distributed on roofs, facades and small land. The Association also predicts that private investments in the sector could exceed the mark of R$ 22.6 billion this year. Of this total, the distributed generation will correspond to approximately R$ 17.2 billion.ACESSE AS REDES DA PANORAMA OFFSHORE:
