Aker Solutions wins contract in Mozambique

The multinational oil company Eni selected Aker Solutions to deliver three umbilicals and associated equipment for the Coral project South in the first offshore field development of Mozambique.

The scope of work includes three steel tube umbilicals totaling more than 19 kilometers (12 miles) long, which will connect the floating LNG facility South to Coral underwater production system of the field. The umbilicals will be manufactured at the factory of Aker Solutions in Moss, in Norway, and are scheduled for delivery by the end of 2019.
