U.S. oil prices begin to stabilize

In an interview with Bloomberg TV, this past Tuesday (12), the Secretary of Energy of the United States, Dan Brouillette, declared that oil prices began to stabilize in the markets, and that the sector "begins to look very good".

According to the secretary, after the drop in demand caused by the pandemic of the new coronavirus, the production of the commodity should improve as the economy improves and the recovery should happen in the third quarter of the year.

Brouillette also indicated that stability in oil prices is a positive thing, as it provides more visibility for companies and people, and that contacts with other governments, such as Saudi Arabia, are important for stabilizing the energy market.
