After President Jair Bolsonaro declared to be against the proposal of the National Electric Energy Agency (ANEEL) for solar energy taxation, deputies of the Committee of Mines and Energy of the Chamber also criticized the agency’s intention.
The proposal, called distributed generation and put into public consultation, aims to gradually reduce subsidies for consumers who generate their own electricity in their homes or establishments through solar panels. The contributions of the company will be accepted until November 30.
