ANP authorizes Vale to import LNG for its own use

According to a publication carried out in the Official Gazette, last Wednesday (14), the mining company Vale received authorization from the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP), to import liquefied natural gas (LNG) for its own use.

The authorisation valid for 2 years concerns the import of 1.66 million m³/d (cubic meters per day) which must be used for heating the ovens of the institution. Imports will be conducted by sea and must be delivered to maritime and regasification terminals on the national coast.
