ANP confirms Subsalt auction contracts signing

The National Agency for Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) confirmed that the signing of the contracts for the second and third rounds of the pre-salt areas sharing was scheduled for January 31, at the federal government headquarters in Brasilia.

On 29 January, also in Brasilia, the contracts of the 14th round of bids will be signed, which provided the sale of 13% of the 287 blocks offered in areas in the bidding and nine basins. Of the 17 winning companies are Exxon, CNOOC, Petrobras, Repsol, Queiroz Galvão. The planned investments amount to R $845 million.

They must appear in the palace for the signing of contracts the CEOs of the winning companies ExxonMobil, Repsol Sinopec, Shell, Statoil, Total, Petrobras, BP, Petrogal, OP Energy, QPI plus the state of China CNODC and CNOOC.

They obtained the right to explore pre-salt reserves of approximately 4.4 billion barrels, one third of the Brazilian oil reserve, with investments of R $100 billion, or more, foreseen in the exploration and production of the off areas.
