ANP: Petrobras fields will go to Trident Energy
The National Agency for Oil, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) approved the assignment of rights of former petrobras fields to the British Trident Energy. The company specializes in recovering oil fields, and assignment was approved last Thursday (18).
The decision involves the Pampo and Enchova hubs, covering the fields of Whiting, Bicudo, Bonito, Enchova Oeste, Enchova, Sole, Marimbá, Pampo, Piraúna and Trilha. All ten fields are located in shallow waters in the Campos Basin. According to the ANP, they had a reduction in 50% in its production in the last 10 years.
Trident Energy do Brasil will be the new entrant in oil exploration and production activities in the country, besides operating and being the only concessionaire of the fields, once it signs the additive terms of the concession contracts.
