ANP participates in event on mature fields

During the opening session of the Latin and Caribbean Mature Fields Symposium, ANP board advisor André Barbosa spoke about ongoing transformations in the oil industry, citing simplified rules, increased dialogue with industry players, transparency And the predictability of actions. He also spoke about the four rounds planned for this year, highlighting the 4th Round of Marginal Accumulations and the 14th Round of Bids, which will offer areas in mature basins.

The event was promoted by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) in Salvador and has institutional support from ANP, IBP and ABPIP. The objective is to discuss alternatives and best practices to increase longevity and the recovery factor of mature fields in Brazil and Latin America, especially onshore, with efficiency, economy and safety.
