ANP publishes resolution on fuels

The national agency of petroleum, gas and Biofuels (ANP) published in the Official Gazette the resolution No. 680/2017, which provides for the obligations regarding the quality control of imported products: automotive gasoline, ethanol fuel, diesel, biodiesel, liquefied petroleum gas, gasoline, fuel oil, aviation kerosene and aviation kerosene.

The new settlement replaces the Ordinance ANP paragraph 311/2001, seeking regulatory simplification of the theme and the definition of more consistent with the current scenario. The changes they consider the increase in imports of petroleum products in recent years and the market signaling about the need to reduce time limits in relation to the previous rule, so as to avoid impacts on supply, without compromising on quality assurance.
