ANP reevaluates oil production for 7.5 million in 2030 in Brazil

The Director general of the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP), Décio Oddone, announced on Thursday, December 13, that it reevaluated the production of oil for 7.5 million (bpd) in 2030, in Brazil. This analysis was made after the various auctions throughout this year.

According to Oddone, with this factor the exports will jump from 2 million barrels per day (bpd) to 4 million bpd and that the collection of royalties and with other taxes are going to be up from R $60 billion to approximately R $400 billion in 2030.

In total, the investment will be around R $178 million with up to 55 programs in the areas of oil, natural gas and biofuels, thus reflecting in industrial and development movements.
