Approval of multi-annual calendar of the next rounds of bidding

As announced by Panorama Offshore, the National Council for Energy Policy (CNPE) approved on April 11, in an extraordinary meeting, the multi-year round of bidding rounds for exploration blocks, concession and sharing, and mature land fields scheduled to take place Between 2017 and 2019.

It was approved that, in addition to the 4th Round of Marginal Accumulations, 2nd Round of Sharing with unitized areas of the pre-salt and Round 14 of Bids for Blocks for Oil and Gas Exploration and Production, this year ANP will also hold the 3rd Round of Bids Under the production sharing regime.

The tender will include four areas located in the Campos and Santos basins, in the pre-salt polygon region, related to the prospects of Pau Brasil, Peroba, Alto de Cabo Frio-Oeste and Alto de Cabo Frio-Central.

For 2018, the 4th Round of Sharing, scheduled for May 2018, will evaluate the prospects for Saturn, Três Marias and Uirapuru in the Santos Basin and the exploratory blocks CM-537, CM-655, CM-657 and CM- 709, located in the Campos Basin; 5th Round of Bids from mature land fields and 15th Round of Bids for Blocks for Exploration and Production of Oil and Natural Gas, in the concession modality with the blocks of the sea basins of Foz do Amazona, Ceará and Potiguar of ultra-deep waters outside the polygon of the Pre-salt areas of the Campos and Santos basins, the basins of Paraná (and Parnaíba), as well as blocks of land sections of the Sergipe-Alagoas, Recôncavo, Potiguar and Espírito Santo basins.

As early as 2019, the 16th Round of Block Bids, in the concession modality, scheduled for the second half of the year, should be offered, offering the blocks of the Camamu-Almada and Jacuípe basins and ultra-deep waters outside the Pre-Salt Polygon of the Basins of Campos and Santos), and of the terrestrial basins of the Solimões and Parecis, besides blocks of terrestrial sectors of the Basins of Sergipe-Alagoas, Recôncavo, Potiguar and Espirito Santo; 5th Round of Sharing, scheduled for the second half of 2019, with the Aram, Southeast Lula, South and Southwest areas of Jupiter and Boomerang, all in the Santos Basin and the 6th Bidding Round of mature land fields.
