Asia and U.S. to see higher oil prices

According to information from financial publisher Dow Jones Newswires, Asia and the United States will suffer from an increase in oil prices starting in February. This increase will take place through Saudi Aramco, which disclosed the formulas it will use to charge the two regions on Wednesday (6).

It is noteworthy that Saudi Aramco calculates its prices in dollars, with a differential against different types of commodity, depending on each region. For February, prices are more expensive compared to this January. In the U.S., for example, Saudi Aramco will raise $0.20 a barrel. In Asia, there will be increases of US$ 0.20 to US$ 0.70, depending on the type of barrel.
