Enauta reported, on Thursday (19), that stopped preventively the production of the Atlanta field, due to failures in oil heaters. According to the oil company, a company specialized for evaluation has already been hired.
Preliminary information indicates that corrosion found in some equipment may compromise operation. Therefore, the company decided to preemptively paralyze operations until doubts are properly clarified.
Enauta Energia, a wholly owned subsidiary of the company, is the operator of the Atlanta field with a 50% stake, the same percentage held by Barra Energia. With operations along the coast of the country, it has two producing assets: the Manati field, one of the main gas suppliers in the Northeast region, in which it holds a 45% stake, and the Atlanta Field, located in the deep waters of the Santos Basin
