Biomethane increments the gas offer

The Joint Board of the ANP approved quality control of biomethane produced by GNR two arches, located in the municipality of São Pedro da Aldeia, RIO DE JANEIRO, whose plant has a production capacity of 10,000 m3/day. The approval is the first, after the publication of the ANP Resolution No. 685/2017, which regulates the quality of biomethane from landfills and sewage treatment plants.  With the approval, the biomethane gas supply increments to be injected into the distribution network. 

The biomethane is a renewable fuel and represents a better use of the existing waste in landfills have been used in other countries such as United States, United Kingdom, Germany and the Netherlands.
