Exploratory blocks of the Sergipe-Alagoas basin will have licensing

The American company ExxonMobil initiated the licensing of 11 exploratory wells in the regions of the 13th, 14th and 15th rounds of the auction of the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP). In these bids, the company conquered the blocks seal-M-351, Seal-M-428, Seal-M-430, Seal-M-501, seal-M-503 and Seal-M-573, in the Sergipe-Alagoas basin.

For better administration, the company divided the project between southeast, being able to use as bases the port of Açu, in São João da Barra (RJ), or Nitshore in Niterói, and the northeast region with the ports of Salvador, Aracaju and Maceió. At the air level, the forecast will be the international airport of Santa Maria, also in Aracaju (SE).
