Ground blocks ended without offers

Ended without offers the stage on land of the 15th round of bids of oil and gas blocks, which in the morning surprised with the sale "spectacular" of maritime areas, raising R $8 billion with the sale of 22 blocks, informed the Director general of the Agency National Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP), Decius Oddone.

In the afternoon were offered 21 blocks, being 8 in the basin of the Sao Paulo and 13 in the Paraná basin.

This was the first time the ANP shared the auction in two parts. The main highlight of the auction was the blocks in the Campos Basin, responsible for R $7.5 billion of the total collected.

Oddone said on Thursday, 29, when commenting on the first stage of the 15th round, that the main news of the day is the resurgence of the Campos basin. The area was unoffered when the pre-salt was discovered, came back to figure in the auctions last year and today had all the blocks sold.

"It is an extraordinary news for Rio de Janeiro and a stimulus to resolve this repetro issue, that these potentials can be achieved in investments," he said.

Oddone also highlighted the diversity of operators and the strengthening of the Holy Spirit Basin at the auction of this farm.
