BP has earnings of $1.151 billion in the first quarter of 2017

British Petroleum (BP) had net income of $1.151 billion in the quarter of 2017, exceeding analysts ' average forecast of about $1.26 billion. In the first quarter of 2016, the profit was $532 million. That is, in a year, the company nearly tripled its profits.

BP provides the price of barrel of oil between $50 and $55 this year, with prices likely contained by the increase of shale-oil production in the United States. However, if there is really an extension of the production cut by the Organization of petroleum exporting countries (Opec), the expectation is that the barrel climb over your price.
