BR and Raízen suspend sales of aviation gasoline
On Monday (13), BR Distribuidora and Raízen reported that they decided to preventively suspend the commercialization of aviation gasoline (AVGAS), mainly used in small aircraft.
The companies, which has Petrobras as a supplier of AVGAS, made the decision after the company announced, last Saturday (11), that a batch of bad quality aviation gasoline imported by the state may have affected some components of small aircraft.
In addition, the companies also recommended that all their customers and dealers suspend the marketing of the fuel. "Raízen reinforces that it is in constant contact with Petrobras for more information about the case and alternatives to new supplies," the company said in a statement sent to Reuters
