A partnership between Bradesco and Enel X results in the construction of nine solar plants that will be used to supply more than 300 branches of the Brazilian bank. In all, more than 18,000 solar panels in the plants will be installed in Quixeré, Ceará; Buriti Alegre, in Goiás; and Seropédica and Campos dos Goytacazes, in Rio de Janeiro.
The project was tailor-made for Bradesco, and has a 10-year validity contract with Enel X, and is expected to start operations in June 2022. Despite the cost of construction, Francisco Scoffa, responsible for Enel X in Brazil, says that "it is a model that brings predictability and economy".
