Brazil sells three distributors in Acre, Rondônia and Roraima

On August 30, Brazil sold at auction, three distributors in the following states: Acre, Rondônia and Roraima. The bidding took place in the B3, in Sao Paulo and the companies Energisa and Oliveira Energia bought the distributors located in the north of the country.

The Energisa acquired the Ceron, while the olive energy was left with good Vista energy. Each one was sold for R $50000 and the purchasers will have to invest about R $1.5 billion in the next five years together. For Mbarak Oliveira, president of the National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES), the auction was a success and that is the result of good regulation and good modeling.

The President of Electro bras, Wilson Ferreira Júnior, highlighted the importance of the purchase to reestablish the financial capacity of the State electric. Already to André Pepitone, Director-General of Aneel (National agency of Electricity), the auction was a success and concluded that with the sale the investments could be resumed.

The electric bras will hold other auctions from now on, one of them is next September 26th, which sells its Amazon power distributors in the Amazon, and soon Ceal in Alagoas. Energisa and Oliveira Energia demonstrated interest in the purchase of companies, but Energisa would have more relevance in Ceal.
