Brazil must produce more than 3 million barrels/day

According to the International Energy Agency (IEA), Brazil can produce in 2018, approximately 3,060,000 barrels of oil per day. Compared to the year 2016, the estimate raises the domestic production of the commodity. In 2017, there was an increase, according to the IEA, with production capacity of 2.8 million barrels per day (bpd).

By calculations, the brazilian production rose by 190,000 bpd in 2017 and to 260,000 bpd in 2018. The data are based on the monthly report released by the International Agency. The evaluation took into account the new subsalt extraction systems, which remain active, even with the crisis because then proceeded to Petrobras.

The increase of the offer may be a factor influencing positive for brazilian oil company accounts and, consequently, to the national economy, and helps attract investors to Brazil.
