Brazil could produce more than 3 million barrels in 2018

According to the International Energy Agency (IEA), Brazil can produce in 2018, approximately 3,060,000 barrels of oil per day. Compared to 2016, the estimate raises the domestic production of the commodity. For this year of 2017, is also forecast to rise, according to the IEA, the total should be of 2,800,000 barrels per day (bpd).

By calculations, the brazilian production should increase by 190,000 bpd in 2017 and to 260,000 bpd in 2018. The data are based on the monthly report released by the International Agency. The evaluation took into account the new subsalt extraction systems, which remains active, even with the crisis of Petrobras.

The increase of the offer may be a factor influencing positive for Petrobras ' accounts and, consequently, to the national economy, as well as helping to attract more investors to Brazil.
