Brazil stands out in renewable energy

Despite the crisis, the renewable energy sector of Brazil walks very well and has shown significant expansion. According to studies of the energy research company (EPE) the participation of renewables in the brazilian energy matrix grows every year.

Renewable energy includes modalities as the generation by biomass, hydraulics, firewood, coal, wind and solar power and is characterized by low cost of deployment, which makes the sector even more attractive to investors.
