Petrobras announced on Friday (19) the signing of three contracts with Braskem for the supply of naphtha. All contracts have a five-year term – two of them begin to take effect later this year, on December 23 – and total a total of R$ 35.5 billion.
The largest of the contracts has a value of R$ 28.9 billion and 1 January 2021. More than that, negotiation involves the supply of petrochemical plants in Bahia and Rio Grande do Sul. In this way, the Petrobras will supply about 3.5 million tons of naphtha per year to Braskem.
The negotiation was based on the international quotation of naphtha ARA (Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Antwerp). In addition, Petrobras seized the moment and also announced the extension of Transpetro's contract with Braskem for a period of 44 months, in which Transpetro transports to another petrochemical company.ACESSE AS REDES DA PANORAMA OFFSHORE:
