Brazil's position as an oil exporter can consolidate

The increase in demand for fuels in the next few years you will be able to consolidate the position of net exporter Brazil oil and net importer of derivatives, especially diesel oil and aviation kerosene. At least that's what I think the Director of studies of petroleum, Natural gas and biofuels in the energy research company (EPE), José Mauro Coelho.

During the launch of the 2nd Economic Bulletin of oil industry drawn up by the company, the Director exhibited which EPE assessment, growth in production in the coming years can be determined by exploratory success and the high productivity of the pre-salt area.

José Mauro said that it is expected that production will grow much in coming years and that in 2026 extraction barrels of oil equivalent per day you can get about 4.5 to 5 million, which would double the brazilian production. However, under the law, if investment in the National Park will not materialize, the demand growth in oil production will not be able to monitor the refining, which will cause the country to import more derivatives.
