The total production of oil and natural gas, Petrobras was 2,810,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boed), being produced in Brazil and boed 2,680,000 0.12 million boed abroad, in the month of October.
The average production of oil in the country was of 2,190,000 barrels per day (bpd), a fall of 2% compared to September, the month in which there was record production. This result was due mainly to maintenance shutdowns in FPSOs City Anchieta and Capixaba in Parque das Baleias, and FPSO Cidade Angra dos Reis, in Lula. The performance achieved so far indicates that we are moving towards the goal of annual production of oil in Brazil, of 2,145,000 bpd.
Production in the pre-salt layer reaches new daily record
In October, production of oil and natural gas powered by us (and portion of partners) in the pre-salt layer was 1.42 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (boed), 2.7 percent lower than the previous month.
The average production of oil operated by Petrobras for pre-salt layer was 1.14 million bpd. Points out that the company and its partners reached a new record in daily production in that province, to produce, on day 11, the volume of 1.23 million barrels of oil.
Natural gas production
