On Thursday (9), the board of the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) approved the resumption of a public call for allocation of capacity of the Bolivia-Brazil gas pipeline, the so-called Gasbol.
Due to the uncertainties caused by the coronavirus pandemic, the process had been postponed on March 27 of this year. Already the new schedule released by the ANP, provides for disclosure of the call notice on Friday, with submission of proposals by interested parties between July 28 and August 10.
"The ANP considered it appropriate to restart the public call in view of plans for the gradual resumption of non-essential economic activities by some states, as well as the interest expressed by several market players in resuming the process," the agency said.
The final result of the public call is expected to be released on August 13. The resumption of the process was approved at an ANP board meeting on Wednesday.
