Campos in the northeast can be sold for R $1 BI

With the intention of further commercializing the areas of Petrobras, nine oil fields in the poles of Fazenda Belém and Macau located in the northeast, Rio Grande do Norte and Ceará, are being negotiated by R $1 billion reais between the state, Starboard Restructuring Partners and 3R Petroleum. Together, the fields produce about 5000 barrels per day of oil.

The commercialization came to light when the president of the company, Roberto Castello Branco, defined the company's exit in the oil and gas market in the offshore to achieve profit and consequently decrease the debts. This month, it was also announced the sale of 34 fields in Riacho da fork that were sold to PetroReconcavo.
