Hull of the FPSO P-69 comes to Brasfels shipyard in Angra dos Reis

Petrobras reported that the hull of the FPSO P-69, arrived on Tuesday, March 28, the Brasfels shipyard in Angra dos Reis, in Rio de Janeiro, where the integration of the modules on the hull will be held, the interconnection all platform equipment and commissioning of operating systems.

According to information from the state, the hull is 288 meters long, 31.5 meters high and 54 meters wide and reached the Cosco shipyard in Zhoushan, China, where it was built. When integrated, the platform will have capacity to process 150,000 daily barrels of oil and 6 million cubic meters of gas. May also store 1.6 million barrels of oil. His performance will reach the depth of 2200 meters.

The P-69 will be installed in the Lula field, Lula Deep South module, the pre-salt Santos Basin and has Petrobras operation with 65% along with BG E & P Brazil – subsidiary company of Royal Dutch Shell plc, which has 25% and 10% Petrogal Brazil. The start of production is planned for 2018. The FPSO-type platforms are floating production, storage and transfer of oil and gas.
