China imports more oil in June

China's oil imports rose 17.9 percent in June compared to the previous month, in May. The country was the largest buyer of last month's global oil, importing 8,790,000 barrels per day (bpd).

In the comparison of the first months of this year to 2016, the Chinese also demonstrated high on import of "black gold" of 13.8%. The explanation would be the low oil prices and lower domestic production.
