CNPE approves standing offer offshore areas

The national agency of petroleum, Natural gas and biofuels (ANP) reported that the National Council of energy policy (CNPE) approved the standing offer areas for exploration and production. The measure refers to areas that have already been approved by the CNPE, offered in bids but not sold, and also returned to the ANP.

The initiative is one more incentive to the already approved by the federal Government and legislature, such as the end of the obligatory single operation of Petrobras in the pre-salt and the disclosure of a multi-annual calendar rounds, allowing greater visibility for the market.
