Compagas renews contract with Araucária power plant

Compagas (Companhia Paranaense de gas), dealership responsible for distributing natural gas in Paraná, has renewed the contract with gas power plant of Araucaria (NORWAY), in order to continue being the supplier of the gas plant. The agreement was signed between the State Governor, Beto Richa, the President of Compagas, Fernando Ghignone, and Executive Manager of Petrobras, Rodrigo New Villages.

The contract of 1.2 billion R$, lasts a year and provides for the supply of 2,200,000 cubic meters of natural gas per day for the plant, which is still the biggest customer of Compagas. Petrobras already has 20% of NORWAY.
