The FPSO Guanabara MV31, located in Campo de Mero, will have the company shipyards of Brazil (EBR), winner of the bid held by Modec, responsible for manufacturing and assembling modules for the topside water treatment system, which will be at the top of the FPSO. The action will begin in the first quarter of this year in São José do Norte, in Rio Grande do Sul.
Guanabara MV31 is the first definitive platform to be installed in the field of mere and to be declared commercial for the sharing of pre-salt production. The region has the capacity to produce 180,000 barrels per day of oil and 12 million m³ per day of natural gas.
