In an extraordinary meeting, two weeks after a request for View made by the state of Alagoas, the National Council for Political (CONFAZ) approved a necessary tax adjustment to enable the purchase of Bolivian gas by traders.
The director of the gas Department of MME Symone Araújo, stated that the adjustment was approved by all the secretaries of finance of the States where there is a network of interconnected pipelines in the country. The new taxation was also well received by the Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME).
The adjustment is the basis of the public call for the purchase of Bolivian gas, for which several companies have shown interest. The expectation is that the gas transport tariff drops between 10% and 30% in relation to the current values.
If it were not approved, the public call for the purchase of Bolivian gas would be compromised. In addition, the term of commitment of cessation (CBT) signed between Petrobras and the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (Cade) could be suspendedACESSE AS REDES DA PANORAMA OFFSHORE:
