Debate by the competitiveness of oil projects in Brazil

In the third edition of the cycle of Debates on oil and economy of 2017, the Brazilian Institute of oil, gas and Biofuels (IBP) discussed the decommissioning challenges for the competitiveness of oil projects in Brazil. According to Marcelo Mafra, Superintendent of operational safety and environment of the ANP, 42% of the existing production facilities offshore in Brazil today are in operation for more than 25 years.
