Natural gas distribution is magnified in Mines

According to the gas company of Minas Gerais (Gasmig) natural gas distribution will be expanded in the city of Poços de Caldas. The expectation is that until about 2018 to 3000 customers have access to the service.

The news of the expansion of gas to Mines comes to meet the growing demand for gas in the region. In addition, the moment is propitious for natural gas in Brazil. This is confirmed by the recent statement by the Minister of mines and energy, Fernando Bezerra Coelho Filho, who said Brazil could become an exporter of gas from 2021.

Brazilian gas production is in growth rate and the idea, according to the Minister, is to increase the production to the point of the country become self-sufficient in gas and, from then on, start to export.
