Accident in the Campos Basin leaves 3 fatalities

Took place on 9 June, in the Marlim Field, in the Campos Basin, the explosion of a ship probe of Petrobras, Norbe VIII (s-32), operated by Odebrecht oil and gas (OOG). The accident left three fatal victims, two watches and a technical engineer officer.

According to Petrobras, the explosion happened during execution of services in one of the boilers of the probe.  There was no subsequent fire or impact to production in the Marlim Field. In addition, emergency plan was triggered immediately and specialized teams are still monitoring the probe. According to the State, there is no risk of leakage.
