EIG Global Energy Partners has reached an agreement for the sale of its stake in The Brazilian Carrier Bolivia-Brazil Gas Pipeline (TBG). The company had a stake of approximately 27.5% and did not disclose the value of the deal made with the Belgian company Fluxys. The announcement was made last Tuesday (5).
It is worth remembering that Petrobras is a majority partner of TBG, with a 51% stake. The company is responsible for operating the Brazil-Bolivia Gas pipeline (Gasbol) in a 2,600 km stretch, including the main natural gas transportation network in southern Brazil.
