Workers, trade unions and political parties of the Spirit Santo entered the court against the sale of Petrobras. According to the Union of oil tankers of the state, the privatization of the company would represent a loss of 43% of the revenue of the Holy Spirit.
The public civil action calls for the stoppage of the sale process with the presentation of a study on the impacts that the process of privatization would cause in the region, in addition to public policies to minimize risks and a hearing with Petrobras' company and employees to debate the decision. The lawsuit was brought by the Oil Men's Union of Espírito Santo (Sindipetro/ES), the Petrobras Association of Engineers (AEPET), the Single State Workers' Center (CUT/ES); the Union of State Workers and Civil Servants (Sindipúblicos); and the PT parties and Psol.
