Enauta reported last Monday (02), that next November, will return to the ANP (National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels) the block CE-M-661, located in the Ceará Basin. The oil company, which had a 25% stake in the block, said the decision was based on "geological and economic analyses, and the ongoing search for the optimization of its portfolio."
The return will be made at the end of the first exploratory period in the region. The company that had obtained the percentage of participation in 2011, reported that it will record R$37 million related to exploratory expenses in the second quarter of 2021, of which R$26.9 million related to the commitment signed in the Minimum Exploratory Program and R$10.1 million of signing bonus.
