Energy bidding is delayed

The A-4 energy auction scheduled for September 26 was postponed to October 17th. The transfer is due to a longer deadline for the realization of the registers of companies and projects that are interested in participating. The decision was disclosed by the Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME) and published in the Official Gazette of the Union (DOU).

The bidding will enter into force from January 1, 2025 and compose the contracts for the commercialization of electricity in the regulated environment (CCEARs). The agreements will have projects focused on hydroelectric, solar and wind power generation.
