According to data from the Electric Energy Trading Chamber (CCEE), September ended with 8,247 consumers qualified to negotiate energy in the Free Contracting Environment (FTA). The figure represents a growth of 22% compared to the same period last year.
According to the EEC, there are also 150 new migrations per month from regulated market consumers (CrFs) to the free environment by 2020, the highest volume since the record recorded in 2016. The figures mainly reflect the growth of 23.8% no number of special consumers. The volume of free consumers, in turn, advanced 10.2%.
In addition, the number of agents (consumers, generators, distributors, self-producers and traders) in the free market has also grown: in September there were 19,733 loads with contracts in the FTA, 31.2% higher than in the same period of 2019.
