Resolution No. 2/2021 of the National Energy Policy Council (CNPE), which establishes guidelines for research, development and innovation in the national energy sector, was approved by the Federal Government and published on Tuesday (9) in the Official Gazette.
Thus, investments are established for the energy sector through research, which will be regulated by the National Electric Energy Agency (ANEEL) and the National Agency for Oil, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP). The resolution also determines the preparation of studies to define new sites for the installation of future thermonuclear power generation plants to the Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME).
Also according to the resolution, the resources of ANEEL and ANP should be prioritized for studies in the areas of hydrogen, nuclear energy, biofuels, energy storage, technologies for sustainable thermoelectric generation, digital transformation and strategic minerals for the energy sector.ACESSE AS REDES DA PANORAMA OFFSHORE:
