Solar energy will feed future exploration bases on the Moon

A project that proposes the installation of towers with photovoltaic solar panels in order to provide solar energy to exploration bases on the Moon has been studied by scientists at the University of Havard.

According to experts, the lunar bases would need water and energy to maintain. It is already known that there is evidence of frozen water in the permanently dark craters located at the south pole of the Moon. Thus, thinking of solving the problem of energy supply, the scientists proposed the construction of large towers with coupled solar panels, which would allow the long-term exploration of the Moon.

Although it seems simple, the project is a challenge and is still being studied by scientists. What is known is that the use of solar energy to execute projects and power homes is already an expanding reality.
