Brazilian solar energy grows 39.5%

The demand for solar energy is increasing. According to data from ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency), there was a growth of 39.5% of this clean and renewable energy until the last month of August. Absolar (Brazilian Solar Energy Association) predicts that by the end of this year, there will be growth of 90% in this sector.

The country currently occupies the 14th place in the ranking of solar generation capacity in large plants and in small and medium systems installed on roofs, facades and land.

Absolar points out that growth is great for estimates regarding the use of renewable energies, which makes this segment even more important in the current moment of national water crisis and for the global need to preserve the environment.
