EPE suggests that Petrobras buy less gas from Bolivia

The energy research company (EPE) under the Ministry of mines and energy conducted a study in which suggests to Petrobras cut, by half, the volume of natural gas imported from Bolivia.

That's why, as already reported, the Offshore Overview Brazil has great prospects of becoming self-sufficient in gas and you can even export it, according to the Minister of mines and energy, Fernando Bezerra Coelho Son.

In addition, the study's suggestion of EPE also is to make room for new importers. The contract with Petrobras Bolivia defeated in 2019. Since 1999, Bolivia provides gas to Brazil through the Bolivia-Brazil gas pipeline (Gasbol).
