Event will address challenges and opportunities in the offshore industry

On March 3 and 4, Rio de Janeiro will host the Global Offshore Brazil Summit 2020. The event, which will discuss market needs with a focus on evaluating and strengthening the deepwater supply chain, will take place at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, located on Av. Lúcio Costa, 9600 – Barra da Tijuca.

Participants will obtain a comprehensive knowledge of Brazil's challenges and opportunities, with lectures by executives and professionals in the field. Some professionals and topics have already been confirmed, and will address the challenges of the future of the offshore industry, natural gas market, divestment of mature fields and permanent supply, development of fpso best practices, among others. 

Recently, Ricardo Toneto de Melo, manager of Petrobras' submarine EPCI department, confirmed his presence at the meeting and will be the main speaker in the keynote session of the operator's project. As well as Gilberta Maria Lucchesi, deputy chief financial officer of Repsol Sinopec Brazil, who will participate in the finance and investments session.
