Gasbol explosion leaves gas-s-hot stations in MT

An explosion on a stretch of the Brazil-Bolivia gas pipeline left gas-s-em gas stations in the state of Mato Grosso. According to the state government, it will not be possible to stock the CNG because of the work of maintenance being done. Thus, during this period, vehicles must circulate with gasoline or ethanol.

The explosion in the Bolivia-Brazil gas pipeline occurred last week, at the time of the BR-070. According to technical expertise, the explosion was so strong that it opened a crater 150 square meters and 5 meters deep. Forensics has 90 days to complete the report pointing to the causes of the explosion.

In turn, the State Department of Environment of Mato Grosso said it is monitoring the actions of the Environmental Emergency Battalion and passing the information to the Brazilian Institute of the Environment (IBAMA), responsible for licensing the pipeline.
